COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Community Outreach committee is very active in the Needham Community. You can find their handiwork in just about every corner of town. With the help of many of our members the group visits senior citizen communities such as Briarwood and Avery Manor and aide the residents in making lovely floral arrangements. As a thank you to the library for allowing us to hold our meetings in the building the Community Outreach group ensures that there is an arrangement on the lobby table year round. The next time you happen to be passing through the intersection of Great Plain and Central Avenues be sure to notice the beautiful flowers in the Noyes Garden. The NGC designed and maintains this garden planted in 2013 in honor of Needham's Tercentennial. So if you happen to see some of the members working hard planting, weeding, mulching and/or watering the garden give a honk to say hello.
