The Needham Garden Club operates exclusively for civic/social welfare purposes and is a 501(c)(3) organization. Our programs include:
Scholarship The Needham Garden Club scholarship is awarded to a high school senior from Needham who intends to pursue studies in botany, horticulture, conservation, and/or environmental science.
Community Outreach Members provide hands-on Garden Therapy workshops for senior citizen communities within Needham and aide the residents in making lovely floral arrangements.
Year-round, members provide flower arrangements or plants near the circulation desk at the Needham Public Library. They also maintain seasonal plantings in urns in front of the building.
Members maintain Noyes Garden – at the intersection of Great Plain and Central Avenues.
Public Programs The club offers five free programs each year at the Needham Public Library that are open to the public for their education and enjoyment.
Our 2023-2024 public programs include Birdscaping, Deck the Halls, Flower Pollination and the Bees that Feed the World, Florals to Chase Away the Winter Blues, and Chameleon Containers, among many others . For more info on these programs, visit our Calendar.
