HORTICULTURE

 The Horticultural team keeps the membership on its toes with their creative challenges, workshops and Horticultural Corner to name but a few activities throughout the year. Members who have chosen to take on the Annual Challenge have had the experience of forcing hyacinths in water and/or soil and growing citrus plants of their choosing. Members are also encouraged to bring in plants to the general meetings for a "themed show and tell" segment as well as cuttings and division for other members. Tours of local flower societies are also thanks to the Horticulture committee. And this past year the 1st Annual Garden Stroll took place, showcasing beautiful gardens of our own members.

Plant Sale

Held every May during the NBA Street fair, the plant sale is a great way to get our name out there and pick up a beautiful plant or two for the garden.
