Tri-Club MeetingStacey Lee is an experienced floral designer and sustainability advocate who owns and operates Paeonia Designs, a seasonal wedding and event design company specializing in American and locally grow flowers and foliage. Stacey's floral design experience includes over a decade of weddings, events corporate and retail. She has been an invited professional for several area Art in Bloom events and designed large installations at both the Museum of Fine Arts , Boston and the Worcester Art Museum.
Stacey's presentation will focus on flower and foliage sourcing from local and American farms, mechanics and armatures used to create large designs and how to use them together with new and innovative sustainable industry products. The fresh product will be seasonal, local/American grown and include some of the best of what spring has to offer from our New England greenhouses and ethical foragers. Stacey will present while designing several large pieces, explaining mechanics, telling flower stories and taking questions at the end. Sponsored by the Needham, Kalmia and Beth Shalom Garden Clubs, this is always a wonderful event. Arrangements and extra flowers will be available to attendees at the end of the evening. Members are encouraged to bring guests (minimal donation), but please arrange to carpool as parking is very limited. NOTE EVENING MEETING. |
